Tired of working and sitting online all day? Tired of telling yourself you are going to exercise more, take a walk after work, get outside more? Need a breath of fresh air? This an opportunity to be in nature AND an important time to take time for your SELF. Walk and Talk Therapy can help if you are feeling isolated from your support systems, or if you are stressed and irritated after being in close proximity with the same people for an extended period of time from living together or working online. As I like to teach my clients, moving the body helps move emotions and feelings through the body!
Walk and Talk Therapy Benefits
Walk and Talk Therapy offers you a chance to slow down and notice what’s going on right now around you and inside of you. The more you practice being mindful, the easier it will be to slip into that mindset when you’re feeling overwhelmed. Fostering the mind-body connection is an important part of mental health.
I am accepting new Walk and Talk Therapy clients. Sessions are provided on a wide trail in the Arroyo Seco near Jet Propulsion Laboratory or in the foothills of Altadena. Good hiking or trail shoes are highly recommended, comfortable clothing and a water bottle.
Walk and Talk Sessions
The format of Walk and Talk therapy sessions is the same as in-person sessions. Confidentiality and focused, open communication is still key.
